Accessibility: There are no steps at the main South West Door. The Nave and North Chancel are linked by a permanent ramp in the North & South Aisles and in the North Aisle the floor has been raised, and ramped in the corridor leading into the Refectory. The fire door has been widened. Please ask for help if you need to. A cut-out in the step at the Altar rail allows wheelchair access on the North side. Please be careful if you are walking in this area, as it is now different from the South side. There are also wheelchair spaces at the outside end of some pews in the Nave. At the West end, there is a single step up into the Bookshop in the Bell Tower
If you need a car parking place for the disabled reserving, you MUST telephone the Head Verger in advance on 01524 65338 as there is no public parking available at the Priory.
If a Service is in progress in Church during normal opening hours access to the Refectory is usually available around the outside of the building, through the gateway to the North of the Tower (now ramped) and along the footpath. Be careful if the path is icy, wet or has fallen leaves on it - it can be very slippery. If in doubt, walk on the gravel to the side.
