PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COFFEE SHOP IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2012 SEASON

The Priory Refectory (The Coffee Shop) opens on Monday to Saturday between Easter Monday and the end of October each year, from approximately 10.30am.

A variety of light refreshments are served:
  • Soup
  • Assorted sandwiches - freshly made to order
  • Jacket Potatoes - with various fillings
  • Toasted sandwiches
  • Scones
  • Cakes
  • Various hot and cold beverages

 All these can be enjoyed in pleasant surroundings.

 

 

The Coffee Shop is wholly staffed by volunteers, mailnly members of the congregation but not exclusively so, who usually work either morning or afternoon once a week in a team of two.

It is a marvellous opportunity to meet people, both to work alongside - and from the wider community.  A very enjoyable way of bridging that gap between church and the general public.

New volunteers are always welcome.  If you would like to help, please contact a member of the Management Team - or any volunteer.

All profits are used to contribute to the restoration, development, improvement, maintenance and repair of the Priory Church of St Mary, Lancaster.

Booked parties are welcomed and can be catered for by arrangement )up to a maximum of 40 people).  Menus for booked parties can be requested when making enquiries.
